Tommaso Maggio is an Italian artist and designer boasting over 15 years of experience. He earned a PhD in Alternative Arts Education from the University of Plymouth, UK, and an MSc in Design from Politecnico di Milano, Italy. His advisory roles include the Triennale di Milano and he holds the distinction of being the youngest committee member for the Compasso d’Oro, Italy’s oldest design award. Additionally, he has served as a Resident Artist at the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce and has been honored with the Re-Seed Award for outstanding entrepreneurship and research by the Università di Udine, Friuli Innovazione, Scuola Internazionale di Studi Superiori Avanzati (SISSA), and the Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia. In 2009, after establishing an artists’ collective in Mexico City, Maggio relocated to Bangkok to become a founding faculty member at Chulalongkorn University. He has since collaborated with various entities, including the Italian Embassy, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), universities, international schools, corporations, and SMEs.
